Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
Welcome to Unlimited Wordle. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Unlimited Wordle website at wordle-unlimited.ajh.wtf and the Unlimited Wordle Discord Activity and bot (together, the “Service”). The Service is a free word game built and operated by an independent developer (“we,” “us,” or the “developer”). Please read these Terms carefully — they explain the rules for using the Service and the limits of our responsibilities.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Service in any way — opening the website, launching the Discord Activity, adding the bot to a server, or simply playing a puzzle — you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a Discord server, organization, or other group, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. If you are below the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, you should only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Description of the service
Unlimited Wordle is a free word-guessing game inspired by the classic five-letter daily puzzle format. You guess a hidden word within a limited number of tries, and the board uses colored tiles to tell you which letters are correct, present, or absent. Unlike the original daily game, Unlimited Wordle lets you play as many numbered levels as you like, share levels with friends, and — inside Discord — solve the same word together in real time.
The Service is available in two places: as a web app you can play in any modern browser, and as a Discord Activity and bot you can add to your servers and account. The Service is offered free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features, game modes, or content at any time, and we may offer some parts of the Service experimentally or in a limited capacity. No account or payment is required to play.
3. Acceptable use
We want Unlimited Wordle to stay fast, fun, and fair for everyone. By using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Abuse, harass, threaten, or harm other players, or use the Service to post or share unlawful, hateful, or abusive content;
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, automation, or third-party tools to gain an unfair advantage, falsify scores or streaks, or interfere with normal gameplay;
- Attack, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, including through denial-of-service attempts, flooding, or excessive automated requests;
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data, word lists, or other content from the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer or access non-public parts of the Service;
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, or in violation of the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, limit, suspend, or terminate access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms or whose use threatens the stability, security, or integrity of the Service or the experience of other players.
4. Intellectual property
The “Unlimited Wordle” name, logo, branding, user interface, and the original source code, design, and content created by the developer are owned by the developer and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may play and enjoy the Service, but you may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from our original code or branding without our prior written permission.
The general format of a word-guessing game — guessing a hidden word and receiving color-coded feedback — is a simple, widely used game mechanic that is not owned by any single party. Unlimited Wordle implements this format independently, using our own code, word lists, and design. We make this independent, transformative use in good faith and believe it to be a fair and lawful use that does not rely on anyone else's protected expression.
5. Trademark disclaimer
Unlimited Wordle is an unofficial, independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with The New York Times Company in any way. “Wordle” is a trademark of The New York Times Company. We do not claim any ownership of, or rights in, that trademark, and we use the word only to accurately and descriptively refer to the well-known game format that inspired this project.
All other product names, logos, brands, and trademarks referenced on the Service — including “Discord” and “Google AdSense” — are the property of their respective owners. Use of these names does not imply any endorsement, partnership, or affiliation. If you are a rights holder and have a concern about how a mark is referenced on the Service, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
6. Third-party services and ads
The Service relies on third-party platforms to operate. When you play inside Discord, your use is also subject to Discord's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and your relationship with Discord is governed by those terms — not by us. We do not control Discord and are not responsible for its availability, behavior, or policies.
The website may display advertising served by Google AdSense and its partners. These ads, and any data collection associated with them, are governed by Google's own terms and privacy policies. We do not control the specific ads shown to you or the data practices of these advertising partners. For more detail on what data is collected and how cookies and ads are used, please review our Privacy Policy. Your interactions with any third-party service are solely between you and that third party.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, that puzzles or stats will always be available or preserved, or that the Service will be free of harmful components. Unlimited Wordle is a free hobby project, and we make no guarantee of continued availability — the Service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, lost progress, lost streaks, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because the Service is provided free of charge, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us to use the Service (which is zero) or five U.S. dollars (US$5.00). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you; in that case, our liability is limited to the smallest extent permitted by law.
9. Changes to the service and to these terms
We are always improving Unlimited Wordle, and we may change, add, suspend, or remove any part of the Service — including features, game modes, levels, and content — at any time and without notice or liability. We may also update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes in how the Service works. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may be highlighted where practical, but you are responsible for reviewing the current Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to them or to the Service are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts located in the developer's jurisdiction will have exclusive authority to resolve any such dispute, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country of residence.
11. Contact
If you have any questions about these Terms, the Service, or anything else, we'd love to hear from you. You can reach the developer at ajh.wtf. Thanks for playing Unlimited Wordle — now go solve a few more levels.
