About Unlimited Wordle

Unlimited Wordle is a faithful, pixel-accurate take on the word game you already love — the same five-letter grid, the same green, yellow and grey feedback, the same satisfying click of a guess locking in. The one thing we changed is the part everyone wishes they could change: the wait. There is no “come back tomorrow” lock here. Finish a word and the next puzzle is one tap away, for as long as you feel like playing.

Every puzzle is a numbered level pulled from a hand-curated list of real, common answers — no obscure filler, no proper nouns. Because the levels are numbered and deterministic, Level 250 is the exact same word for everyone, everywhere. That makes “race you to Level 12” something you can actually say and mean.

Why it exists

Unlimited Wordle grew out of two requests we heard over and over. First, people simply wanted to play more than one puzzle a day — to warm up, to wind down, or to settle a best-of-five. Second, they wanted to play with friends live, together, instead of pasting grey-and-green emoji squares into a group chat after the fact. This is the answer to both: a Wordle that is generous with your time and genuinely fun to share.

Built with care

Under the hood, Unlimited Wordle runs on a pure, deterministic word engine: the same level number always resolves to the same answer, with no database lookups and nothing left to chance. That is what lets a level mean the same thing for every player without a server round-trip.

Multiplayer is authoritative on the server. It checks every guess and returns only the colour feedback — green, yellow or grey — so the answer never leaves the server and can’t be sniffed out of the page source or your network traffic. Whether you’re playing solo or racing a packed voice channel, the game stays fair.

Unlimited Wordle is made by ajh, an independent developer who just wanted the version of this game he actually wanted to play — and then made it free for everyone else too.
